The inception of the Kooks company is the stuff of legends. George Cook was a consummate racer who was determined not to be constrained by the limitations of the technology of his time. He took it upon himself to build a set of headers for the family racing car. When he used the car at multiple drag races his talent in designing superior headers was noticed just as much as his talent on the racetrack.
